1932 2.3 8C Alfa Romeo Spider by Touring
After drilling the holes the rim and hub are placed in a jig for spoking. .010 thick stainless steel wire is used to thread the spoke pattern to match that on the actual wheel. Tyres are moulded in Silicone Rubber, two sizes required for the 2..3 Alfa. .060 brass strip is used for the chassis side members.

62- The first row to go in is the one in the front.
63- The second row is the centre to the back.
64- Lastly the back row which can be fitted out of the jig.
65- Fully spoked wheel and opened jig.
66- Moulds for large rear and smaller front tyres.
67- One complete set of wheels and tyres.
68- Frame pattern with brass flats for chassis side members.
69- Splitting the pack of 3 for the six side members
70- Each piece has four holes drilled from the pattern.
71- The 6 parts for 3 chassis are riveted together.
72- The pack are now milled roughly to shape.
73- Final shaping of curved ends is with files.
74- Thin brass strip bent and clipped to each piece.
75- Strip is silver soldered in place to form U section.
