Halloween in the UK is one of those things where
most people go 'Oh no, trick or treat - it's so American!' And
they're right. So when a lady here at Bangkok Garden handed me
a piece of paper with detailed plans for Halloween I thought 'Oh
no, trick or treat - it's so American!'
So on Thursday we went to Central shopping centre
and bought some masks and stuff, as well as some treats.
On Friday we set out with 'Little' Jacob from
Isabel's class and Cameron from Jacob's class, and with a list
of apartments to go to. It didn't take long before the kids had
so many sweets in their bucket that we had to go back to our apartment
to drop some off. Everyone that we visited was very generous and
the all the kids had great fun, although they were all tired out
by
the
end
of the
evening.
Trick or treat is still so American, but the
children enjoying themselves is the important thing.
