The management of Bangkok Garden held a cocktail party last night at the bottom of our tower, and so we decided to wander along to see what it was all about. Well there weren't many cocktail shakers in evidence, but there was loads of food and drink, and it was all free. In fact they put on a damn fine spread.

We took Jacob and Isabel down there and they were able to run around safely and mix with the other children (and adults). Jacob made himself useful by getting me a constant supply of beer, and Isabel ended up having a late night dip in the pool with some of her friends.

Quite a few tenants turned up including most of the new Shrewsbury teachers, but it was nice to meet some of the non-teachers who reside at Bangkok Garden.

There really is a great atmosphere here and we are enjoying living here immensely.
