A TIP TO YOURSELF
Years later, the man looked back on
the time when he first heard of the principles of
One Minute
Presidenting. It seemed like ages
ago. He was glad he had written down what he learned from the
One Minute
President. His notes had become a
best-seller at $25 a
copy.
By selling copies of his book to many other people he had assured that he wouldn't have to work as hard as he grew older simply to stay alive. He would have time to chop wood and ride horses and take trips to threaten important people in other countries. He would advise future Presidents how to best fulfill their wishes by shaking the right hands and cutting off all the others.
Everyone who worked for him felt secure. No one felt manipulated or threatened because everyone knew from the start that no one knew what he was doing or why.
Many of the people reporting to him had become One Minute Presidents in obscure emerging nations themselves. And they, in turn, had done the same for many of the people who reported to them.
The entire universe had become more effective.
