Resin Bonded Aggregate Surfacing to give an excellent non-slip surface on top of existing paths/drives

Adtex provides a good bond to most substrates, including asphalt, bitumen macadam and concrete.

Adtex is a new generation, flexible, two part, solvent-free polyurethane hybrid resin system which, when used in conjunction with selected aggregates (size range is between 1 and 3mm approx), provides a complete surfacing system.

It is particularly suitable for use in prestige developments to give a luxury ‘feel’ and in conservation areas where harmony with the surrounding environment is important.

Their Coldgrip is a cold applied, resin based road surfacing material designed to provide the road user with high skid resistance.

Their Colourgrip is a range of high performance pigmented resin coated aggregates to be used as the dressing.

Resin Bound Aggregate Surfacing to give an excellent non-slip surface on top of existing paths/drives

SureSet is a Resin Bound system, which is suitable for Pathways, Tree Pits, Driveways, Pool Surrounds, Pedestrian and vehicle used areas as well as internal contracts. SureSet is a bound not a bonded system and can be laid by SureSet trained staff or for small areas by you.

The kits consist of a bag of washed, dried and graded aggregate and the appropriate amount of resin. The two are mixed together by turning over with a clean shovel as if mixing concrete. When the aggregate is fully coated it can be spread and levelled and then trowelled off to smooth but textured finish.

Small areas are fine for this application but larger driveways need a team of about 5 to mix, lay and trowel before each batch (mixed in a forced action mixer) starts to cure.

Red Spider Mite - Natural Pest Control

Red Spider Mites attack any conservatory plant as well as vegetable crops, including peppers, cucumbers and aubergines. The first sign of Red Spider Mite damage is a speckling on the leaves eventually turning them yellow. In serious cases plant growth is seriously damaged and plants may even die. The predatory mite Phytoseiulus persimilis can be used to control the pest, reproducing at twice the rate of the Red Spider Mites and eating the young, eggs and adults. This product should only be applied after Red Spider Mite have been observed and works better with higher humidity.
Natural pest control products offer a safe and effective way of controlling pests for both edible and ornamental crops, without the use of toxic chemicals, making them ideal for the organic gardener. Treatments are suitable for use in both greenhouses and outdoors dependent on the pest and take the form of natural predators, parasites, bacteria or parasitic worms called nematodes, all of which occur naturally and are specific to the pests they are targeted against.
