Growing Instructions |
The soil should be slightly acid to slightly alklaline in full sun so Sandy or Chalky soil mulched with 4" (100mm) deep with manure (Cow is best because it has no seeds in it) the previous autumn is best. Before sowing, fork and then rake the soil to create a fine tilth. Sow seed 3 inches (75mm) apart in drills 6 inches (150mm) apart and 3/4 inche (18mm) deep, when the soil temperature is above 7C. |
