Soil

Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring.

Tolerant of Poor Soils, so broadcast rose fertilizer in early summer as well.

Identical to Rosa 'Peace' except for colour, which is a coppery yellow base overlaid with deep pink.

Flowering is Continuous throughout summer. Slightly fragrant.

Good for bedding or planting in groups. Hedging. Good for cutting.
