Soil

Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring.

Tolerant of Poor Soils, so broadcast rose fertilizer in early summer as well.

The small, fully double blooms, which are produced in large clusters, blend superbly with the foliage, being apricot-pink flushed deep pink with paler highlights.

Comment

Long dark brownish stems. Particularly good in the autumn.

Good for Hedging. Grow in pots.
