Ivydene Gardens Case Studies:
Case 7 - Repair of Concrete Pond

This concrete pond had moved and cracked. It was a saucer shape and bedded in clay soil. I created a planting shelf using concrete blocks and levelled the top. The Rock Garden was moved to the other side and turned into a waterfall. I then inserted a butyl liner on top of a fabric pond liner to prevent it from being pierced by the concrete. Then concrete slabs were laid on top of the liner to create a pool edge.
