Inside Home Recording (IHR) is a podcast that covers the latest in home studio recording, hosted by Paul Garay and Derek K. Miller and based in Vancouver, Canada.

Who are we? Inside Home Recording (IHR) is a podcast that covers the latest in home studio recording and is hosted Paul Garay. Original co-host James Devon left in mid-2006, and was replaced by Derek K. Miller. Both Paul and Derek are professional musicians involved in teaching, producing and recording music. Together, Paul and Derek provide a wealth of expertise, information, variety and entertainment. They live in Vancouver, Canada.

What is a podcast? Podcasting (derived from Apple’s iPod & broadcasting) is a way of publishing sound files to the Internet, allowing users to receive new audio files automatically by subscription, usually at no cost. Unlike radio or streaming media, podcasts are time-shifted, meaning that listeners have control over when they hear the recording.

How do I subscribe to Inside Home Recording? IHR is a podcast that you can subscribe to using iTunes or other software, such as Juice , NetNewsWire, or Transistr , or listen to directly on the web at www.insidehomerecording.com .

There are various ways to subscribe so that your computer automatically downloads new episodes whenever they're ready.

How many subscribers does IHR currently have?  IHR currently has more than 15,000 listeners worldwide and is growing very quickly. IHR also receives dozens of encouraging emails every week. How often is IHR produced? IHR's goal is to produce up to 26 (30 min.) shows per year, on average every two weeks.
