A popscreen is very handy to have in the home studio for recording vocals.

A popscreen is very handy for avoids loud plosives and sibilance when recording vocals. There are a number of commercial popscreens on the market, but it's just as effective to make your own. This simple DIY popscreen was made using a coat-hanger with women's pantyhose wrapped around it.
