Rising from the Ashes?
The push is on to get the downstairs back together in time for Christmas. Here's a look at our work the past week or two.
   

Every inch of the floor glue residue had to be hand scraped. No machine worked!
We hung the first few cabinets. We're waiting for the range hood to arrive.
Everything is moved around for the work. Each time is it hard to find stuff.
We prepare to seal the concrete. The water vapor level is much too high.
Can't decide on a paint color.
I added a color wash to tone down the green but I'm still not sure.
The fridge moves to the patio. It was a bit scary rolling it over board ramps
All sealed and ready to be covered in PE plastic sheeting (added insurance).

It took all day to seal the concrete and lay this much floor.
