So far, the downstairs bathroom is the most complete. It doubles as a dishwashing station/water source while the kitchen is under construction. The large sink is convenient for handwash laundry, too.

Caroma (Australian) Dual Flush toilet (.8g or 1.6g flush). 4" trap = no clogs!
I faux finished the textured walls with a relief/bas-relief motif.
The door is faux finished also. It is a more pale plum than the photo shows.

I got the the idea from a Sunset bath idea book.
Currently this room plays a dual role as a scullery while the kitchen is gutted.
The mirror and towel rods still need to be hung as well as a few other touches.
I made this wire/paper shade to hide the CFBs. It isn't really this dark.
The base coat is a butter cream with hand applied adobe, brown, and plum glazes.

Ikea oak doors (also in kitchen) hide sliding metal organizing baskets inside.
