The ET-MT meet in Cortina ended Wednesday with two slalom runs down an icy Tofana Run. MT's Bourdon headed the list with 209.5 but the next five places went to ET men. Jerry Porter was second with 232.2, followed by Pcf. Herbert Fraser with 232.6, Lt. Bob Blatt with 233.6, Mr. Freddy Pieren with 243.8, and Lt. Leon Goodman with 245.0.

The combined event, which when computed from the slalom and downhill totals is the basis for computation of the team standings, was also dominated by Bourdon, who came up with a low total of 377.8 Points. Following were Lt. Blatt with 403.9, Porter with 408.54, Fraser with 408.54, Goodman with 415.55, and Pieren with 421.42.

Lt. Leon Goodman, USFET, of Sun Valley, Idaho, took top honors in the ET Ski Meet's downhill and combined events.

Pfc. Karl Bohler slipped to second place in the jump event of the Third Army Ski Championships when he took a hard fall on the icy infield after successfully completing a beautiful 51 meter jump.

Pfc. Jerry Porter, Third Army who hails from Rutland, Vt., took second in the downhill race. Porter was the downhill champion of the earlier Third Army meet.

Goodman Leads Downhill
Lt. Leon Goodman led the tight honor bracket in the Cortina meets downhill race, making the icy Faloria Trail in 3:52.4. On his heels were Pvt. bob Bourdon of the MT, with 3:53, and Lt. Bob Blatt, ET with 3:53.4.

MT jump star George Sandle took fourth, in the event with 3:58.4, while the ET's Bob Galaher took fifth with 3:59.2, despite a bad fall that eliminated him from the slalom competition the following day. Third Army downhill star Pfc. Jerry Porter tied with Mr. Freddy Pieren, USFA, FOR SIXTH PLACE. BOTH MADE THE RUN IN 3:59.6.
