Re: [Rollei] 2.8F Tooling

I just pulled out Prochnow's book Rollei 75 Years, published in 1994.
I think the historical section of this book is mostly the same as
Rollei Report 2. In this book on page 103, Prochnow says:

"The management succeeded in acquiring all of the tools for the
Rolleiflex 2.8 F and the Rollei 35 in addition to material already
taken over. In 1983 a series of 1500 Rolleiflex 2.8 F Aurum cameras
were offered to collectors and fans. One year later a limited series
of 500 2.8 F was made for the last time as "Edition 1984 Platinum".
The design of the improved Rolleiflex 2.8 GX was completed in 1987."

This is from the English translation by Günter Richter which makes up
the second half of this bilingual edition.
