"British" English


I can only assume that since America is the biggest World Power and that they are going for total world domination, their corrupted version of English is set as the default on a Mac even after having installing OSX for the first time and telling it you are British it still uses "English" (ie American English).

You have to go into your System Preferences -
Select International
and click the Edit List
de-check English
Scroll down the list and check the British English
