Rendering - Remove those splotches

My first thought was to increase the front threshold, but going from 16-24 didn't make any difference. Maybe I'm mucking around in the wrong setting.

Try reducing the Front level to 4 and the Back level to .1 I believe those were the settings I was given by Gary to reduce the exact same thing in one of my recent renders. You may not need to go as low as I did.

Thanks Leif, I give that a shot. Jean just mentioned that I have my numbers backwards, I need to go lower instead of higher.

I just ran another test with the same settings but with "render splines as polys" and "flatten database" selected and it seems to have helped a great deal. Hmmm..
