18 July 2005 MTB this week

Subject: Biking this week/ Braemar

1) Tues 19th - Cloish night ride. See http://tinyurl.com/dzfjj for
full details but meet in West Linton at 1830 for an 1845 roll out.
My be an idea to chuck a rear LED into your bag as well as the
nights are fair rolling in.

2) Wednesday - GT night ride. 1845 for a 1900 roll-out. Sounds
smashing.

3) Thursday - Training ride, 1815 sharp at the Bike co-op with MC

4) Saturday morning Pentlands ride - Martin is leading the ride this
week.

5) Sunday - not sure. I fancy doing something new but not really too
full of ideas, if anyone has suggestions then please let me know.

6) Braemar weekend. 19-20 August. There's a few people up for this
by the sounds of things. I have now spoken to Rucksacks hostel and
they are fully booked so other possibilities are to get a hotel or
B&B, the SYHA in Braemar, the campsite in town, wild camping on the
old road (the W side of the water of Cluanie heading towards
Glenshee. Very much a "sort your accomodation out and see you there
on Saturday morning" type weekend. I'll draw up a list of interested
parties and circulate it round everyone by the end of the week and
take it from there.
