The five of us that did turn up had a great time and surprised ourselves with how we went, in what was a perfect piece of fine-tuning for the legs in advance of 10UndertheBen this weekend.

...Me, Ian Feanney and Graeme Elliot were all around the 30.30 mark, and Les Weston put in the commendable time of 35 mins, especially with his full-face helmet and patented anti-speed device attached to the front of his bike.

International Cycle Speedway 4 June 2005


There is less than two weeks until the Edinburgh based Scotia Cycle Speedway Club host their biggest meeting of the year; the Fulfilment Factory sponsored Home International and European Veterans Grand Prix.

...Scotland will include former Scotia rider and current World No.10 Craig Newsome along with Scotia youngster Mikey Hewitson making his International debut after some outstanding performances this season.

...Kinross-based Lee Lawrence will be hoping to use home track advantage to improve on his thirteenth place showing in the English Grand Prix.
