Make Art Not Trash Mosaic Project, Eagle Rock January 10 – 24, 2009

Almost one year ago, The Eagle Rock Association Beautification Committee (TERA BC), in conjunction with the Arroyo Arts Collective (AAC) and the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock, invited artists to create ceramic mosaic panels designed to adorn trash receptacles to be placed throughout the Eagle Rock area. The resulting panels strive to beautify and uniquely unite the rich cultural heritage of the community with civic- minded businesses, while providing a positive solution to local litter. The installation of the receptacles is scheduled for some time this spring, but now is your time to preview these wonderful panels. Please join Mary Clarke Camargo, Frances Garretson, Linda Johnstoneallen, Mary Jean Mallman, Luz Mack-Durini, Dawn Mendelson, Suzanne Siegal, Kacy Treadway, Kelly Witmer and more, as they showcase their work. Reception: January 10, 2009 7-10pm
