The advent of newer software for our web page design and publication has allowed the school to migrate its home page, while retaining a connection to the older locations with pictures and document download sites, to a new server that allows for a more functional and dynamic look to our school's presence on the web.

The SKKA Florida also maintains the sites for the Miami (Okinawa Martial Arts Academy) and Winter Haven (Winter Haven Martial Arts) dojos; easily found on our main page.
The migration of our site is not the only migration in our organization. As some of our readers already know, Sensei Juan Queris migrated to Central Florida and established the SKKAF Headquarters in Winter Haven, Florida. Sensei Rafael Tovar took over the responsibility left to him by Sensei Juan and successfully manages the Miami dojo.
Sensei Juan's dojo in Winter Haven has enjoyed a warm welcome by the Central Florida community and can boast an enviable enrollment level in less that 10 months since it opened its doors. We wish him all the success and hope that our readers make this a stop when they are in the area. All contact information is posted online for your convenience.
The new web sites will offer our visitors information about upcoming and recent events in our organization, Sensei Ota, Hanshi's Seminar schedule, promotions, and much more.
We have incorporated Blogs in various sites to allow better interaciton between our students, friends and the instructors, and begun a Podcast to be updated quarterly with background information on our organization, the martial arts and other topics. Your suggestions are always welcome. The aim is to foster communication and the education of our audience as Okinawan traditional karate-do, as seen through Sensei Ota's interpretation of Matsubayashi Shorin-ryu.
