There are many pictures here of my toads hanging out and eating. All of these toads are from the same clutch of eggs. They are eating black worms sprinkled with a generous amount of Nekton R. If you look closely, some of the toads have worms hanging out of their mouths, This is their second feeding with the Nekton R. You can see that their stomachs are already turning orange from the first feeding 2 days prior to these pictures.
You may notice that the toads come in many different sizes and color variations. This is partially due to the fact that these guys spent the first 3 months of their lives in my daughters preschool, where they were not fed often enough or given the proper tank maintenance. All in the name of science of course. I also experienced a higher mortality rate due to the improper care. My average survival rate is around 85% but these guys only had a 25% survival rate.
