Sitting in the Court house
at the court house, glad I'm not at
work.
Well I guess i finally have time to update my
log. I am sitting in the superior court of alameda county in downtown oakland. i
found a good spot near a window so i can at least see outside. i really hope i
get out of this quickly. it was nice to sleep in until 7 but the thought of
being on a jury is scary. another good thing about having jury duty on a tuesday
is i don't have to go to staff meeting at work. but that would be a good time to
ask about when the other FC and i are moving. the production execs need more
space and so Maria and i are going to move to a windowless office on the first
floor right outside of the facilities area. not only will i be back in a hole
but i will be very close to the rest of the facilities staff and the mail room,
making it hard to sneak away for some quite time. the other problem is that
there is not enough data ports in the room. i have a second computer that runs
linyx so i can play with the production software. well there aren't enough ports
for three computers(my pc, my linyx, and Maria's pc) and our phones. oh well i
guess i will find out later.
