The Episcopal Center @ UGA
We meet year-round on Wednesday evenings at 5:00pm during Fall and Spring semesters and at 7:00pm during the Summer. Wednesday worship is always followed by dinner.  During Fall and Spring terms we also gather for a service of Evensong and Communion Sunday evenings at 8:00pm. We'll serve a Sunday dinner before worship -- We start cooking around 5:00pm.

Most days Monday through Friday Noonday Prayers are read at 12:00pm and Tuesday and Thursday evenings Night Prayer (according to the New Zealand Prayer Book) is read at 10:00pm.

We encourage students to worship Sunday mornings with the two parishes in town:
Emmanuel, just a few blocks from North Campus across downtown and St. Gregory's, south of the Loop beyond the "eastside" apartments and commercial district.

Here's a look at the basic worship offerings at the Center during Fall and Spring semesters. Scroll down the page to see a list of
Special Observances during Fall '09 or as we call them around the office "Days We Want to Observe but Can't Wait Until Wednesday to Do It." And check our Holy Week schedule for listings beginning Passion Sunday, April 5 and continuing through Easter Sunday April 12.

Special Observances during Fall '09
Several “red-letter days” and other occasions call for observance outside the regular Wednesday or Sunday schedules for worship. It just so happens that the majority of these fall on Mondays. Here is a list with links to the lessons for those services.
