Last year Stuart Graham won the RAC Championship rounds at every circuit bar Thruxton, and an unlucky half shaft failure, three laps from the finish, ensured that the popular Cheshire Camaro driver was robbed again on Easter Monday. Prophet Richard Lloyd ("remember Richard Lloyd always wins at Thruxton", he said just prior to the start) took a neat victory after an eventful race. Just 6.6s behind was the incredible Broadspeed Triumph Dolomite Sprint of Andy Rouse showing V8s, V6s and lots of machinery that ought to have more performance, the way to the flag. A fantastic "Formula Capri" dice was resolved in Holman Blackburn's favour, while the smallest class, for the third time in four outings, went to the shoestring-budgeted Toyota Celica-Samurai driven so surely by former rally crosser and modsporter, Win Percy.
