Apart from the races for “Ausweisfahrer”, many professionals took the trip to Zolder despite the bad weather. The 1300 cc race was won by Tubbesing, spectacular as ever. Division 2 was won by Schüler, his BDA’s total time faster than the big boys, who had started in the same race but 30 seconds ahead. Fastest of the big ones had been Neuhaus, but Joisten took the lead after the start but was bumped off the track by Heyer. He regained the lead later on, only to drop back with a puncture. Neuhaus won but was disqualified, so Heyer took the trophy. |
