Rennen 1
The only Honda could not take part in the fight for the lead - not that there was any fight, the field spread apart quite soon. Siebert lapped all the others at least once.

Rennen 2
More excitement here, where Rack could fend of attacks from Schmidt and Krenzer.

Rennen 3
13 NSU’s, 7 Abarths and a lonely Imp - after the start, Pfeiffer, Weiss, Hessel and Von Kerkerinck (all in Abarths) disappeared, three-wheeling through the curves. Weiss took the lead and inched away, winning in front of Pfeiffer.

Rennen 4
The fight between Mineif (Fiat 128) and Boden (NSU TT) looked over before it had begun; Mineif broke his gear lever in practice, so he had to start from behind. None withstanding this, he stormed through the field, finding himself second in lap 26 and closing in on Boden. Boden countered and increased his pace - it looked like he could save his lead to the finish, but then he lost it on the last curve. Mineif passed and Boden could only finish second, losing valuable points in the championship.

Rennen 5
The 1300 class was always something special. Gleich, joint championship leader so far, had only practised fast enough for row two but stormed into the lead anyway, followed by Menzel in the Escort. After many laps, Menzel finally slipped through and won, while Gleich did not seem to be able (or wanting?) to fight back.

Rennen 6
Two Zakspeed Escorts in row 1, while Struckmann started dead last. The Escorts went in front, and soon it became apparent that Sommer would win here. Struckmann had to give up with a broken valve rocker. Entertainment was provided by a VW Beetle, enthusiastically driven by Dieter Götting in midfield.

Rennen 7
Some top entries here, but the race turned out to be tame; Schmarje was way ahead of the others, with Schüler (Kadett) finishing a fine second in front of Krebs (BMW). Ertl (Alfa Romeo) had a sort of Rallycross race, mixing tarmac with grass all the time.

Rennen 8
Jochen Mass was one of the two remaining leaders of the championship without defeat so far. In the streaming rain, Mass went ahead of the 10-car field, and soon his only serious opponent Fröhlich became gearbox problems, sidelining him after a while. So Mass won, with two laps in hand over the second place Commodore...

Rennen 9
The GT’s under 1300 cc had the last championship contender in its ranks: “Sigi Rolls”. He would have won his class, even on 2 cylinders, since his comrades would have lined up behind him in any case. But when his engine broke down altogether, Haug took over and won the class in front of Bohnenkamp. The other classes were won by Schäfer (Alpine 1600) and Theissen (VW-Porsche), the latter after Kaiser retired.

Rennen 10
Curt Wetzel was again the only one to fight the Porsches, not Fröhlich like last year but Gerlach. The latter won the race.
