We need your help:
To sponsor the monks who will be studying in the new Shedra (teaching college) currently being re-built, and their teachers.
You can sponsor one monk in the Shedra for just 10 euros (£7) a month.
You can sponsor a Khenpo (teacher) for 100 euros (£70) a month.
To fund the cost of running the health clinic and supporting the hard work of the doctor Chuga and Ani Choden, .
You can contribute to the 100 euros (£70) a month needed to pay the doctor.
You can contribute to the 150 euros (£100) a month needed to fund the Health Clinic.
To fund [the building and] running of the lay school.
You can sponsor a child in the lay school for 5 euros (£3.50) a month.
You can sponsor a teacher in the lay school for 75 euros (£50) a month.
Individuals can sponsor monks and children, and groups could join together to sponsor the teachers, the doctor and the health clinic. Of course any and all contributions are very welcome, but it would be particularly helpful if individuals or groups could commit to providing support on a regular (monthly) basis. This will help to make sure that the progress illustrated in Francois photos is properly planned and maintained.
We are not aiming to change Rigul or its people. We only want to help them get back what was lost to them. The Health Clinic and lay school were initiated by the people themselves and we are supporting them because they will both benefit so many, not only in Rigul but the surrounding areas.
