Led marketing efforts for branded and licensed slipper products in US market.  Responsibilities include strategic direction, market analysis and research, product line segmentation, new channel development and channel management, web development and implementation, all communications, retail marketing and sales support programs.

Accomplishments

SlipperGift retail brand development

Developed retail/web/gift card concept to compete against low-priced slipper segment.  Responsibilities include market research and analysis, store design and operations training, product mix and tiers, all displays and promotion, website development, electronic gift card implementation, all promotional, sell-in, sell-through and support programs.

Results

  • 33% increase in branded wholesale product sales as a result of SlipperGift store volume
  • 28 temporary inline stores and three temporary outlet stores opened 2001 - 2003
  • Consumer website, generating 500% increase in Internet slipper sales.
  • Introduction of first footwear industry electronic gift card
