A textbook repositioning study...

If you think all this sounds like a textbook study, you're half right.

 

 

Actually, there were two studies...  One appeared in Kevin Lane Keller's "Strategic Brand Management: Building, Measuring and Managing Brand Equity."  Keller said, "As a result of all these developments... the brand has now reappeared in fashionable department stores and sales and profits have sky rocketed."

The other, George and Michael Belch's "Introduction to Advertising and Promotion", said "Even the Hush Puppies hound is getting hip..." as it discussed the Brand Plan, ad campaign and Hush Puppies goal to reach a younger audience.

The Hush Puppies message reached students in other ways as well.    Jeff was an invited lecturer at universities, colleges, schools of design as well as marketing business groups and industry gatherings.  He has also conducted creativity workshops for major corporations' marketing and creative groups.
