Odyssey of the Mind

Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative competition for primary, secondary and college age students.  Seven member teams solve long-term and spontaneous problems in one of five competition categories.

Jeff has been actively involved in Odyssey of the Mind, serving as a coach, judge, Regional and State Problem Captain.  In 2002, he judged at World Finals competition.  Currently Jeff serves as secretary and Information Director for CU in MI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that hosts Odyssey of the Mind in Michigan.

Community Involvement

Jeff is active in his church and currently serves as local lay leader with counseling and leadership responsibility for a 550-member congregation.

Other Involvement and Interests

Jeff is a Lifetime Member of the Two Ten International Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to helping shoe people.  He has worked locally with Junior Achievement as an instructor and fund raiser.  Jeff is an amateur musician, and as a hobby writes an annual Christmas song for family and friends.
