Hospitals Double Their Use of CAMSince 1998 according to a new survey hospitals in
the US have doubled their usage of Cam services.
The number of hospitals offering complementary
and alternative therapies has doubled from 7.9% in 1998 to 16.6% in 2002
according to a newly released survey by the American Hospital Association's
Health Forum.
Two of the top reasons were patient demand and attracting new patients.
