Reflexology Shop raids
Two two-way permit holders and two
employers were arrested yesterday in a joint operation against illegal workers
conducted by the Labour Department and police in Happy Valley.
It was their first joint
operation targeted at foot reflexology shops.
Both two-way permit holders
were female and were found providing reflexology services to customers. One of
them held a forged Hong Kong ID card.
In the four-hour operation,
eight department inspectors and nine police officers from Happy Valley's task
force sub-unit were mobilised to conduct raids on 11 reflexology shops and to
check the identity of 65 workers.
