Can reflexology pathways help the elderly?

We came across this research study from Oregon Research Institute. It is a blockbuster. The scientists studied seniors for a variety of factors after walking on mats meant to stimulate the feet. The elderly had lower blood pressure, less pain and better stability. The next step is a larger study funded by the National Institute on Aging.

As the boomers get older will we see reflexology pathways sprouting up throughout the US. If Asia or Europe is an indicator the answer is yes.
