I finished it! 



I have finally finished my manual for Hopi ear candles and I am so pleased. It is not a huge manual but it is the first one I have done that is all my own work, it says what I want it to say and in my own words. I already have a couple of people lined up who want to learn and I must admit I am excited to teach this.

The Healing Room 



 

I am lucky enough to have a space in my home that I can dedicate to my alternative healing and my spirituality. When we started the room was bare and had damp so bad that we had to take the plaster all the way back to the brick work to repair it, I had a vision of how the room would be and it turned out even better than I expected. It's filled with all my favourite things like crystal, books and trinkets. There are 4 geishas to represent Japan which is where reiki comes from, there are also totoros, buddhas, angels and a Native American woman.

The water feature on the window sill is made from rose quartz and adds a really gentle quality room. Also on the book case is my ipod, I love having my ipod in here because it means I can access all of my music and create special playlists to personalize a treatment. The couch is an old hospital examination couch which is very big and sturdy, it had loads of padding on it and the fleece blanket makes it feel safe and warm. I could go on forever about my room but I won't i'll leave it at that and perhaps i'll be lucky enough to give you a treatment some day!

I just changed some pictures so you can see the new carpet and the second book shelf.

HOPI EAR CANDLES 



 

Hopi ear candling is the latest skill I have learned and I find it a very simple yet powerful treatment to relax and restore balance to the body.

The candles I use are from Biosun and I find them they best as they contain all the herbs. I consider the herbs to be the most important part of the treatment.

CRYSTAL HEALING

Although I have no formal qualifications in crystal healing, I have been learning about it and using since I can remember. I was also lucky enough to get a place on Melodies level one workshop when she came to the U.K. Melody is an inspiration to me and I find her "love is in the Earth" to be the most comprehensive book about the properties of different crystals.
I love crystal healing as I find it is something anyone can pick up easily and that generally people are very willing to give it a go even if they aren't spiritually inclined. This makes it a very good way of introducing people to the healing arts.

REIKI 




 

Reiki is the Japanese form of energy healing, It works on the idea that when you become attunend to Reiki then you become a channel. You are then able to direct the universal healing energy all around you into yourself and others. As you move through the 3 different degrees of Reiki you learn some symbols to help you fine tune the energy you are sending and finally you learn how to attune others and teach them how to attune others.

I have been a Reiki practitioner since May 2000 and a Reiki master and teacher since July 2001.

So far I have been lucky enough to teach every level of Reiki and have had the pleasure of teaching some amazing students.
