Mr Lynch, is one of my favorite directors. I didnt know at first when I saw this series, but it all made sense later. No wonder it was so awesome. This is by far, in my opinion, the best tv series to hit the tubes. Like one reviewer said, it blends art with tv. Magic with reality. It doesnt mean that reality meets magic, its raw, you say that it cant be real but you get sucked into the dialogue and eccentricity of it all, you come out somewhat of a person who believes that there is "something" out there. Never analyze a film if its the first time watching, especially this series, just go along with the ride, and I promise you wont be dissatisfied. I believe if this series were brand new, and broadcasted its pilot this coming fall, it would still be the hit it was, if not, even more. Just look at the cult following. Need I say more? X-files was good, but that screamed ALIENS you know? Twin Peaks had/ has strength in its subtleties.
