.. after all these years...
...and suddenly, one day, when you had long
forgotten about it, the shadow of a love from long ago pierces through you.
Nothing, just a thought or the eyes of someone on the street who reminds you of
her. Almost nothing. And yet for a moment you are left there clutching the
remains of your heart, for a moment as broken as on that day long ago, for a
moment as painful while you stop to catch your breath and then resume your way,
limping, hoping that it will subside and go and not come back for a long, long
time.
