Venue Descriptions:
"Slim's is horrid. It's a long, narrow room built to hold around 200 comfortably, but they usually
cram in more like 4-5 hundred which is obscene, imo. There's a bar that runs
along one long side with maybe 20 seats, otherwise you're standing. There is a
dining balcony, but unless you're at one of the front tables, you can't see the
stage, which is on the opposite (short) end of the room. Also several large
pillars to conveniently block your view, depending on where you stand."

"Slim's is rather lame. The view was pretty bad, all standing
room, and the bar is way in the back which means if you have a good spot,
you have to fight your way through to get a beer, then fight your way back
without spilling it on anybody."
