Big ol' rotten egg on my face... we maxed out our bandwidth several times with the "9 Years" video and finally got shut down completely. We purchased as much bandwidth as we could - and it still wasn't enough. So, we hope everyone survived five days of the non-intentional blog blackout without injury. It won't happen again. Really.
Yes, the podcasts are back as well. |

MTV Update: Taping was concluded earlier this week on the new CRIBS episode at Dale Jr's Dirty Mo Acres. Seems we may need to invite the New Yorkers to the Carolinas more often, as our record drought was countered by rain both days of shooting. We got a lot of great photos - but unlike last time - we're not going to publish them until after the show airs sometime in 2008. TOO much cool-ass stuff to give away here.
It's the grande finale of my years doing media and publicity for Dale Jr. and I suspect it will rank up there with the previous edition of the show as far as being a fan favorite. (Not to mention being aired 3 million times in the coming years...) Check back in 2014 and we'll see if this episode is still being talked about like the first. |

| FINALLY REVEALED: The main reason this blog never caught on beyond a small corp of diehards in the NASCAR world is now revealed by a new study of the cultural habits of Americans of various political stripes and hues. According to the study, conservatives, aka "Reds," are heavily into NASCAR, but rarely read! Not surpisingly, they do not enjoy popular culture - unless you consider gospel music or Faux News to be 'culture.' It all adds up... |
