Cleaning out the Notes

Cleaning out the files and pictures I've saved up for the last few weeks. It's been pretty busy so I've not been able to blog as often as I'd like.

Paris Isn't the Only One: I'm sure I'm not the only one who believes Kurt Busch got off very light on the NASCAR penalties announced this morning. Harvick and Spencer were suspended for much less serious offenses. I wonder if Kurt has the courage to apologize to the crewmember(s) in person, versus leaving a phone message. I assume Kurt cried less than Paris did today.

A small silver lining: With the Busch penalty, Dale Jr. moves up one position to 14th in points prior to starting Sunday's race at Pocono.

Is there a similar person in NASCAR as successful as my friend R.C. Buford of the San Antonio Spurs? He's consistently recognized as the best GM in the NBA, yet never gets a lot of attention or enough credit. (pictured to the left, R.C. and his sister Anne as our guests at Texas Motor Speedway.)

Peace Through Pay Pal: This is one example of why I believe microfinance will be the great economic engine of the next decade.

Yet another General speaks out: This one may suprise you as Gen. Washington criticizes the handling of the Iraq War.

Mr. FISH rocks. As always.

Maybe this Ford dealer's dog knows something about Dale Jr's next stop... hmmmm...
