In conjunction with the good folks at Distavision - a new NASCAR licensee - we are offering the first official announcement of a giant poster of Dale Jr. leading a pack of 30 cars at Talladega.
This is not just any poster - it is 8 FEET WIDE - giving a panoramic view never before seen of the three-wide action at Talladega. It's like the printed version of HDTV. Only wider. (The image above represents less than 20% of the entire poster! Click the links below to be able to scroll across the entire giant image.)
You have to see the full image to believe it -so click here - and then click here to order your very own (and how about one for each of your friends!?). Prices start at only $29.95 - and make a great gift for any NASCAR fan. Basement! Bedroom! Over the Mantle! NASCAR Room! Garage! One for each room in the house! How many more exclamation points can I include?!?!
We've never asked for much - but a portion of the proceeds of each poster sale will go to support the fingerprint inc. website and blogs. So here's your chance to support the blogs that love you. Really. |

| About Distavision: A division of Rick Graves Photography, all Distavision posters use the "DistaCam," a camera utilizing a new and unique technology that allows Graves to take photos which expose a single, continuous frame on the entire length of a roll of film versus the typical series of individual images in small frames. The Distacam uses an innovative robotic motor to move the film through the camera at speeds relative to the speed of the subject - such as the 190mph swirling pack of race cars at Talladega. |
R.I.P: Musical giant Ahmet Ertegun, whose Atlantic Records released the greatest musical catalog of the past 50 years. You may not know his name, but know his artists from jazz, soul, R&B, rock, heavy metal and more.
Also to Clay Regazzoni, a five-time Formula One race winner, who died in a car crash. Regazzoni was known in latter days for returning from a crash that paralyzed him to compete in a variety of major races using hand controls. Because of his last name and the fact he made his mark driving for Ferrari, I always assumed he was Italian. My bad. Turns out, Clay was Swiss.
Sports titan Lamar Hunt also passed away this week. Hunt - who created the AFL, named the Super Bowl, brought back the two-point conversion and was a leader in countless other sports endeavors, was a man who brought his Dallas Texans to Kansas City in the early 1960s and gave a bunch of folks in the heart of the country something to cheer for through the long winter months. A truly class guy.
Nicely done, David Poole. And Jeff.
Happy Festivus. |
