Leave it to HBO to offer up the most imaginative low-budget high-comedy show on TV. Flight of the Conchords - New Zealand's fourth most popular folk parody duo- is both a band and a TV show - a dry and droll musical sitcom that must be added to your Tivo Season Pass especially if you enjoy shows like the BBC's original version of The Office.

Hilarious stuff as the two faux-folk musicians - whose fan base is one woman - live in squalor in New York City. Even if you don't have HBO - you can check out entire episodes (free) on their site or at iTunes.
