Dierks Bentley, nominated for two Grammy awards this year, will perform a free post-race concert at the 2007 Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway. The concert -- free to all ticket holders -- will follow the 70-lap all-star race Saturday night, February 10.
His latest album, “Long Trip Alone” was selected fourth-best among the Top 10 Country Albums of 2006 by CMT.com. “Long Trip Alone” (the title track is also his current single and video) is the fourth album from the native of Phoenix. Bentley moved to Nashville at the age of 19 to pursue his career, and won the prestigious Country Music Association Horizon Award in 2005.
He is nominated for two Grammy Awards this year: “Best Male Country Vocal Performance” for his song “Every Mile a Memory.” The same tune is nominated in the “Best Country Song” category.
