OK, I don't get it. Why would anyone pay to see a wax museum? Well - if you are one of those folks, you can see the fatty palmitic acid-replica of Dale Jr. and Richard Petty when you're in Vegas. "The Junior" and "The King" statues were unveiled today at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
My take? They're freakin' C R E E P Y ! ! ! !
ESPN's Jamie Little - hostess of the unveiling - was apparently so freaked out/creeped out by the wax King, she wouldn't pose next to it for a pic... And, notice how the normally fearless Junior didn't get within a few feet of his um.... likeness.... His one word response: scary.
(Highly Urgent Technical Update: Madame Tussauds tell us the head is a special mixture of beeswax and Japan wax, weighing approximately 5 kilos. Because I KNOW you were wonderin.')

| Massive Thumbs-Up to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for their new media center and Neon Garage. It's the most impressive media center of any motorsports facility I've seen around the world. The bar has been raised... |
