Christmas at UltramanLand
We spent three nights and four days at UltramanLand in Arao-shi, Kyushu (but it wasn't enough for our three-year-old; I think he wants to live there)

The restaurant is at left, the gift shop at right, and the main hall at center

The live stage shows are a main attraction at UltramanLand
Most shows feature pyrotechnics
We saw most of the shows several times. Jay didn't mind.
I learned when the explosions were and was ready with my camera.
Meeting Ultra Heroes themselves is another big attraction. Here: Ultra Seven
Zoffy, taking a break from his job as a shill for Microsoft
Ultraman Cosmos (Lunar Mode) gets a big hug
Ultraman Nice was clowning around, as usual
Jay had the right to meet a Hero of his choice. He picked Ultraman Powered.
Jay got a picture of himself with Ultraman Powered, signed in the Ultra Alphabet
Between live stage shows, there were puppet shows at the "Ultra P" theater.
There was a special Christmas show on Christmas Day.
Monsters and Heroes alike dressed up and did a Christmas dance revue

There is a large inflated bouncing chamber with a bubble pool in the main hall.

Restaurant rules
Naturally there is a large and well-stocked gift shop.
An advertisement for an upcoming event. (This is a really bad pun in Japanese.)
Our hotel (the big green thing) was right across the road from UltramanLand.
We got one of the special Ultraman Rooms for the price of a regular room.

This picture of Bemular was quite impressive.
Ultraman glasses and a Pigmon garbage can in the bathroom.
Such attention to detail!
If you spend 5000 yen at the gift shop an Ultra Hero visits your room.

Jay had no interest in the huge amusement park next door, so we never went there
