Getting a press fingerprint is essential to your separator. Among other things, it
lets your separater have a window from pre-pres all the through the final printing process.

Measuring things like slur, gain, registration, ink color trapping, drying, ink coverage, etc, it becomes an essential tool for your separater to help insure accurate color separations and adequate trapping.

FGS can proved you with a set of fingerprint plates for your flexo press.
All you need to do is provide the material width and tooth gear you need the test made for.

Each set up to 8" wide by your specified repeat is $159.00 (For larger sizes, please call)

Each set will include a questionnaire asking you about some of the conditions
which have influenced the printing, such as material, ink type, anilox etc.
This information is necessary in order to diagnose process printing problems.

Each set will include the original set of negatives for you to keep
A second copy of the negatives will be kept on file at FGS

*Each set will contain 4 plates (C,M,Y,K) made to your width and gear specification using Dupont Cyrel®.

This set will be good to try on many substrates, anilox and ink configurations
allowing you to see your press capabilities clearly.
