Using the Zag Pack 'n Latch Organizer Box to Store Dice I saw these 12-inch by 12-inch plastic organizers at Costco (the discount warehouse) around Christmas time. It has four shallow drawers (about 1.25 inches deep) and two deeper ones (2 inches deep). The shallow drawers can be divided into 10 compartments, but 5 to 6 seem ideal, as you can fit one ship in each of these. The deep drawers can be divided into 6 compartments, and are deep enough to hold all the booster dice specific to each ship. You can fit about 20 ships in this thing! The most interesting feature was that the drawers locked. You have to press down on a red tab to be able to pull the drawer out. Thus, the dice are secure from falling out. However, I had a problem with the latches. The top drawer would slide open despite the presence of the locking latch. This would happen when I didn't close the drawer tightly. So something to watch out for. If you can find it, I would recommend it. I think it was around $9 at Costco, which is an okay price. If it doesn't work out, there are tons of other uses around the house for it. Oh, it also has a handle on top. Very nice for transporting. 1) Sturdy -- 8 (should hold dice through spills, but I haven't tested this) 2) Portable -- 10 (that handle and the locking latches) 3) Inexpensive -- 5 (money spent on this could get another booster) 4) Allows Viewing -- 6 (you need to slide the drawers out for a look) ...Fen
