The original two starter sets can still be found on eBay, and for low cost. Search for "Star Trek dice." Finding the Vor'cha, Galaxy and boosters has always been (sadly) almost impossible. For nostalgia, here's what I had listed back in 1998, after the Vor'cha, Galaxy and boosters came out: All-Star Games is at 2773 S Diamond Bar Blvd, Diamond Bar, CA 91765. I believe they were the first to stock the dice in southern California. They will mail the dice to you. They've got most if not all of the new sets. They have a large gaming area a few stores down. (checked 10/98) We Be Games is at 21032 Devonshire St #110, Chatsworth, CA 91311. They are willing to mail dice. I dropped by their store on 10/21/98 and they had all the dice. Shawn gave me a tour of the premises. They had several large tables for gaming (in three different rooms) and a computer room. They have excellent gamer's hours: M Tu W Th Su 2pm-10 pm. F 2 pm -12am. Sa 11am-1am. Texas Dice! We have a confirmed report (10/7/98) of a Galaxy set being purchased at Major Players via special order. All the new dice are available this way. They also have the 1701-E and Borg ships (of course, mail orders pay shipping). Their eastside store is at 1840 N. Lee Trevino Dr., El Paso, TX 79936, (915)595-2011. Their northeast store is at 9584 Dyer St., El Paso, TX 79924. There might be a discount, ask. Thanks for the info Bruce and Victor! The Game Zone has dice, I saw them there myself (10/10/98). They had the 1701-E boosters and Vor'cha ships. They are at 2302 E Colorado Blvd at Sierra Madre Blvd, Pasadena, CA. In the back is a nice game room with several tables and network computers. Wizards of the Coast Game Centers in Seattle, Washington stock the dice too, according to what I've read on the Five Rings Discussion Board for Star Trek Dice Game. They don't do mail order, though. (Based on information from June 1998). Last, let me mention another favorite game store, Brookhurst Hobbies in Garden Grove, CA. They never got the new expansions in but they seem to be selling the Borg and Enterprise-E sets at a slow but steady pace. |
