U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E Starter Set
Was released in 1996. One of the shop guys at Brookhurst Hobbies mentioned it to me and I went bonkers. The Borg set hadn't even come out yet, so I bought two E's and played them against one another.

This starter set has dice for the Enterprise-E and the Jean-Luc Picard crew die. It's a 60-pt. ship.

Borg Sphere Starter Set
This arrived on the shelves about a month or so later, January 1997 I think.
This set has dice for the Borg Sphere and the Borg Queen crew die. It too is a 60-pt. ship.

U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E Booster Sets #1-5
Borg Sphere Booster Sets #1-5
Galaxy Class Federation Starship Starter Set
Vor'cha Klingon Attack Cruiser Starter Set
These all arrived at about the same time if I recall correctly. Unfortunately, only a few stores had them. Seems none of the distributors had even heard about them. Talk about a cruise missle going under the radar. I wonder how many were produced.

The movement dice in the booster sets are restricted to the Enterprise-E or Borg Sphere, but the other dice can be used with other ships (e.g. Federation crew and sensor dice can be loaded on the Galaxy). Each booster came with 10 dice (fixed distribution--not random). See the Dice section for lists of dice facets.

The Galaxy and Vor'cha are 50-point ships and do a lot to extend the Star Trek dice gaming experience. Their dice are also listed in the Dice section of this site.
