There used to be a great discussion board at www.frpg.com/startrek but one day it disappeared, the browser being redirected to a Legend of the Five Rings page. I emailed the webmaster to find out if they were merely reorganizing. I got a response that the posts might be made available again in the future.  A customer service rep replied with "We don't make that game."

However, in anticipation of this eventuality, I archived the most important posts in hopes that the questions and history will be of interest. Here they are, in four parts.

Obviously the game did not survive, despite a letter-writing campaign, and my first ever website supporting the game. But it was fun while it lasted and thanks to Dan, Edward and Five Rings for a great game.
